Classic Rotors announces the addition of an S55 to
their museum of rare and vintage rotorcraft. This S55, once part of
the Canadian Armed Forces was recently purchased by Raymond and
Jessica Echt from Southern California. Raymond spent 48 hours (7
days) flying the beautiful S55 from Alaska to Southern Californa.
Although it will be 50 years old next month, the S55, with a Pratt
and Whitney engine was restored in 1993. Today the S55 was flown to
it's new home with Classic Rotors at the Ramona Airport. The S55
will join the H-21 and Joe Pikes HUP at many upcoming airshows.
